Our Story
Since 2020, PlankX has provided comprehensive laminate and LVT flooring solutions in the Leicestershire area. Founded by Liam Danks, a skilled and seasoned carpenter turned floorlayer, our team combines expertise from both disciplines to ensure flawless results, paying meticulous attention to even the minutest details of every project.
Upon graduating from college with a Carpentry Diploma, I embarked on a career as a carpenter and joiner in a workshop. However, I soon discovered a passion for connecting with new people and found genuine happiness in engaging with customers and receiving their appreciation after completing each job. This newfound joy allowed me to break away from the confines of a traditional 9-to-5 routine, granting me a sense of freedom and the opportunity to hear diverse stories from individuals I encounter along the way.
While I’ve made strides in achieving my initial goals, my vision for the future includes establishing a dedicated showroom offering an extensive selection of flooring options.
